The Art

My art has been described as reminiscent of indigenous Australian art peppered with expressionism, post-impressionist, pointillism, and fauvism attributes.

Initially I was a bit unsettled by not seeing other art that looked like my own. However I have since grown to appreciate being classed as one of a kind. I am blessed to have a unique style which developed intuitively & organically. I have grown to appreciate that my art is uniquely identifiable, interesting, and true to my creative nature.

I am a self-taught artist, and I am using that term loosely because I have acquired a wealth of knowledge from my peers and mentors. I love experimenting with various techniques & materials. I use dots often, but not exclusively. Dots are reminiscent of atoms. For me, they are the basic building blocks which can be arranged to create in infinite ways.
